Professor Robert F. Beck of the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Department and Arthur M. Reed of the U.S. Navy were awarded the American Bureau of Shipping Captain Joseph H. Linnard Prize at the SNAME Annual Meeting.
The award is presented to the Best Paper Contributed to the Annual Meeting and Appearing in SNAME’s Transaction. The two were honored for their paper, “Advances in the Predictive Capability for Ship Dynamics in Extreme Waves.”
