Ph.D. student, Jifa Mei, has been awarded the SAE Henry O. Fuchs Student Award for his novel modeling method for quantifying multiaxial fatigue damage under non-proportional multiaxial loading conditions, as documented in his three publications in International Journal of Fatigue.
The purpose of this award is to promote the education of engineering students in the area of fatigue technology and this award is facilitated by the Fatigue Design Evaluation Committee. Jifa has been invited to the SAE FD&E 2017 Spring Meeting at the John Deere Headquarters in Noline, IL to present his thesis and receive his award.
